2015 slice of life, four short episodes:

"She and Her Cat: Everything Flows". Miyu's cat contemplates their
life together.
This is of course tied to Shinkai Makoto's early short video
Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko;
in fact it's a prequel – but Shinkai didn't write, draw or direct
this, though he asserts copyright over it, and it's no longer in his
distinctive artistic style.
The original piece was less than five minutes long; these four
episodes reach about half an hour between them, though that's
including repeated credits. There are more characters and a little bit
of plot, but it's all very light seasoning on a solid base, and the
main point of all this is still the cat's view of life.
This no longer has the novelty of the original, and is best approached
as a palate-cleanser between more engaging works, but it's inoffensive
and enjoyable. Given a choice between the two, the original feels
fresher, but the art may be off-putting. As a single OVA this would
probably wear out its welcome; as four separated episodes it does its
job, but no more.
