Night Ducks 10 March 2017

I was out late one evening posting a 3D-printed part, and saw some ducks out on the Wye.

I don't expect nocturnal ducks. They're not really built for it, what with the small eyes and so on. But there were two of them, doing some light foraging. And since I had the Canon Powershot A1300 with me, I thought I'd get a picture.

Sure, if I'd used the Lumix GF-1 it would have come out better, but I don't carry the GF-1 when I'm strolling out to the post office. Pushing contrast and brightness, there's a drake clearly visible.

The duck isn't as obvious, but you can catch some of the wing and tail markings above and to the left.
