To a mate's place in London on New Year's Eve for beer, games and
chat.
And food. Lots of food.

Two games of The Resistance (where the same two players ended up as
spies both times), interrupted by more food.

And two rounds of Guillotine, one I haven't played for a while; for a
simple game it sometimes gets frustratingly legalistic and complex (it
was published by Wizards of the Coast), but still enjoyable and
relatively lightweight.

There was beer involved. Including
Decadent IPA.

As I started to fade, I Am Bread got played. You control an animate
piece of bread that's trying to cross a room and get toasted.
Unfortunately it seemed mostly to be about fighting the controls
rather than actually getting anywhere.
