2015 contemporary slice of life, 12 episodes:
AniDB. A
middle school girl with a knack for cooking learns that everything
tastes better if you share it with someone special. vt Gourmet Girl
Graffiti.
Yeah, basically this manga adaptation is animated food porn.
(Verging on the literal: nearly every tasting, shown in close-up, is
accompanied by sparkling backgrounds and orgasmic expressions.)
So if you want to see well-drawn Japanese food being cooked and eaten
by young girls this is the show for you. That's literally all it has
to offer. There's some nominal plot, characters are introduced every
episode or two, and there are occasional flashbacks that provide a
little characterisation, but this is a show that is here for one
thing, gives you that thing, and then is over.
The art, as one would expect, is very lush. The music is bouncy and
energetic. Character designs and animation are fairly generic;
competently executed, but nothing to impress.
