On a very bright and warm day, there was a select gathering of fans of
pig and goat.
We started the day with boerewors (but no pap, no great loss I
feel)
We got through plenty of charcoal, and weirdly only had grease fires
in empty pans. (Must try harder.)
Cooking carried on into the evening. I left the older foil trays on
top as heat reflectors.
Innovations this time: Raspberry Pi and loudspeaker system tucked up
under the roof of the gazebo, out of the way of cooling-water
overflows from the beer tub. Cumin goatburgers got eaten. Even the
chicken came out just about right; I'm finally getting the hang of
making sure thicker cuts of meat get cooked through but not
carbonised.
