Back to this small quarterly boardgames convention in Watford. With images;
cc-by-sa on
everything.
I turned up a little late to join the
Wings of Glory
game, but with a 40-minute-plus-one-turn deadline it got the job done
and didn't outstay its welcome.
That table went on to
Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu.
Meanwhle I was playing
Welcome Back to the Dungeon,
not so much an expansion for Welcome to the Dungeon (though it can
be used that way) as a sequel that does things in different ways, and
Splendor, which
I haven't had out for a while (and for which I'm working on a
3D-printed storage box design that'll be rather smaller than the
current one).
We went on to
Grifters, which
I was able to introduce effectively but not to win;
Condottiere, an
odd card game loosely themed on Renaissance warfare;
and Red 7, at which
I did entirely terribly.
Didn't win anything all day, though I came a credible second at
Splendor. I blame post-Essen con crud.
