This
Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey, this time on
an excessively hot day.
With eight of us turning up in spite of the heat, we split into
two groups of four; one lot went off to play Castles of Burgundy,
while I dived into
Tales of the Arabian Nights
(not too much thinking needed).
I didn't do as horribly badly as usual, though I did end up Insane,
Grief-Stricken and On Pilgrimage. Nearly finished my quest, though,
and had Master-level Piety and Enduring Hardships, which is pretty
good going. Only one point behind the leader when we had to call it
for time.
Like Fury of Dracula, this is a game usually I feel like playing
once a year or so, though I wouldn't mind getting another go in fairly
soon…
