This
Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey, on an evening
that was slightly cooler but still fairly sweaty.
Six of us dived into a modified
Concept: a
different scoring system, basically, "first person to call the answer
gets the card for their score pile, gets an arbitrary number 1-9 from
the previous player, gives clues next, and picks a number 1-9 for the
player after them". This was a much more social way to play than the
official rules, which involve messing about with teams.
I particularly liked having to give a clue for "Silhouette", though
I'd really have enjoyed "Atlantis". As the light was fading and we
went over to the pub's internal lighting, the blue and green cubes
merged into each other, and black was pretty close too. (But of course
if I owned this I could make my own 3D-printed markers…)
We were still enjoying it at the end of the evening's play, which is
pretty good going.
