My
Colt Express
set has attracted some envious looks. Here's what's gone into it.
The base game is now about £25 new, and the
Horses and Stagecoach
and
Marshal and Prisoners
expansions are about £16 each.
I'm using the
official play-mat
which I picked up in a BoardGameGeek trade, as well as the
MeepleSource
painted character meeples
and
painted horses.
I don't usually bother with the cactus and rock card pieces, since on
British tables we often need to use the edge of the play mat to place
cards and other stuff, so I haven't enhanced those.
The loot is all 3D-printed by me; the designs for the purses, gems and
strongboxes all came off Thingiverse, while the mailbags are my
modification of an unrelated Thingiverse design. These are all
available at my 3d printing site,
including links to the models should you want to print them yourself.
(I might run up some Cursed Loot too at some point.)
Cards are stored in generic playing-card cases which I got in bulk off Amazon.
Everything just about fits into the box, except for the play mat.
