This
Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey.
I arrived a little late, while people were playing
Eco Fluxx.
It did what a Fluxx game should, and ended in about ten minutes. (If
Fluxx did that reliably, I'd like it a lot better.)

What turned out to be the main event of the evening was
Artificium, a
game I'd missed completely when it came out. It's thoroughly
un-thematic but quite enjoyable, with cards that let you convert
things into more valuable things. I was even briefly in the lead,
though of course I didn't win.

We had a few rounds of
Codenames, for
which I probably shouldn't be the clue-giver even though I enjoy it,
and then finished the evening with
Concept as the
last bell was rung.

The bar staff like us, which makes a nice change from a previous
venue where we got un-invited for not spending enough. The beer's
usually the same, but well-kept, and the food's not bad at all.
