I played the new edition of
Mansions of Madness
last year, and wasn't hugely impressed. But there's now an editor to
allow people to write their own scenarios.
It's definitely assisted by a large TV nearby rather than peering
at an app.
And some of the miniatures are very fine.
It's still an app-based game, though, and if the software fails you're
stuffed. And it did and we were. So it goes. We played some short
games after lunch.
Death Over the Kingdom:
the rulebook is really not all it might be, and I can't count this as
a game played. I think we were very nearly there, though.
Antidote is one
I'd like to get out more (though it needs lots of fiddly deck tuning
for the number of players).
Pirate 21
takes a little getting used to, but came out pretty well once people
had adjusted.
Parade continues
to be one that works well for me, though I had my closest challenge
yet (15 points to my winning 13).
