Mansions of Madness Second Edition, once more 23 April 2018

This was a second pass at the player-written Mansions of Madness scenario we tried last November (but were stymied by software bugs).

Also note the status rings, to remind you when your character is dazed, stunned, and so on.

"No, madam, I am afraid that Miss Barnes is not at home to you."

Eep?

(The Dark Young is not hugely damaging to a competent or lucky character, but one wants to stay away from it mostly because of the horror effects.)

Definitely helped to have a TV showing the game interface, as before.

More Dark Young. Not a great time to be caught outside.

I ended up doing a fair bit of the investigation, and at one point had a stack of 15 Clues. (I ended the game with ten.)

Run away! Run away!

Er, maybe run away a different way since my fellow investigator has started a fire while mesmerised?

It was a pretty tough game, and we won on the last possible turn. It went rather well, I thought, with a good balance (at least over the whole game) between fighting and problem-solving.
