This Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey. This time
five of us turned up at the end of a long bank holiday.
I had the 2016 edition of
Robo Rally
with me, and we ended up playing that. First the very basic
introductory game, as several of us hadn't played before.

Then we went on to Dodge This, a tight single-board course with lots
of collision opportunities. At one point I think we had four out of
five robots rebooting in the same turn, three of them in the same
phase.

It was a close race to the finish, and a remarkably intense
experience. I haven't tried that course before, but it's certainly
going to be one of my regulars now…
