This Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey. This time
four of us turned up (I think we're getting into the spring illness
season).
We started with
Illimat, a full
game that ended up taking four rounds. I had an excellent last round,
and ended up losing by a single point. I'm still very fond of this
game, which has a strong visual appeal as well as being decent to play.
We went on with
Splendor, yet
another game I don't play as often as I'd like. And it showed; I'm
fairly rusty, though things seemed to be coming together eventually
(just a little too late).
