This Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey.
We started with
NMBR 9, using two
sets since there were eight of us. People had an enjoyably frustrating
time, and whlie I did medium terribly I wasn't quite as bad as usual.
One Night Ultimate Werewolf
next; everything went very smoothly with the app, and it was fun, but
I still find One Night Revolution more satisfying. (I'll have to
bring it along some time; I haven't played it for a while.)
I took advantage of my reputation for always being the spy to make
some unconvincing accusations and get myself lynched – to win the
second game as the Tanner.
Finally, new Essen acquisition
Human Punishment.
The rules aren't expressed as clearly as they might be (hey ho, I will
have to write a new rulebook) but there's distinctly more depth than
first appears, as the last survivors of the machine apocalypse become
increasingly paranoid and start grabbing guns and shooting each other.
I definitely want to play this again soon.
