This Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey.
We started with
Secret Hitler,
one I haven't played for a while; indeed, while I liked the game, I've
sold my copy. It's OK… but I'd still rather play The Resistance.
We had another session of
Human Punishment,
which certainly takes longer with eight than the five-player games
I've played via TTS, but is still my second-favourite social deduction
game at the moment. (I don't suppose The Resistance will ever fall
off the top spot, given how much variability one has with the various
expansions.) It could really have used a native English speaker to
write the rulebook, though.
Finally, a couple of games of
One Night Ultimate Werewolf:
still not really my thing, though I think it would have worked better
if we'd all had a better understanding of just how the roles worked.
