This Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey.
We started with
Homeland,
and I drew my favourite role of the terrorist mole. I was doing a
reasonable job, I thought, until a bunch of plots got solved all at
once – just as I'd set myself up with an Exposure card to prove I
was clean, so I couldn't do anything to wreck the final round. Even
then, I only lost by two points.
An introduction to
Rallyman next,
on short course with lots of corners. I made a couple of plotting
errors which left me well down the pack.
But still a very pleasant evening; one of the things I look for in
games is that they're still fun when you're doing badly.
