Another of the occasional Cambridge boardgaming evenings.
We started with
Not Alone, and
as usual with this group played several times – one of us was
determined to see a human win, and just about managed it on game 4.
As usual with these players, they took a very analytical approach: is
it ever worth Giving Up at the start of your turn? Probably not,
because what happens to you then is not significantly better than if
you play a card and get caught.
(Stay a while. Stay forever.)
A game that rather defies attempts at analysis is
Blame Space,
which was suitably chaotic and frustrating. (But I can say that as I
won with zero blame, versus 14 and 15.) This seems to fill the
Munchkin-shaped hole in my collection.
