This Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet at the Marlow Donkey.
Another small meeting on this hot day, so three of us played
Evil High Priest.
It's a surprisingly thinky game, given how bold and brash it looks.
Cultists in the asylum find something to do.
And, even though I spent much of the latter game with only one acolyte
available (four in the asylum and one doing a long ritual), I still
managed to pull off a win at the last moment. Being able to bring up
two chambers for my High Priest action was particularly helpful when
my opponent was destroying one of my chambers with his HP; memo to
Future Roger, it's worth leaving some space in the deep chambers for
things you acquire later in your turn…
