Start the Kicking 06 July 2020

Something of mine is on Kickstarter. (Well, sort of.) Gosh.

Steve Jackson Games is running a Kickstarter for a disparate set of short (10-ish page) PDF supplements to GURPS: for a small pledge, you get as many as are unlocked when the campaign ends, currently ten and potentially twelve. They mostly build on other supplements, rather than using the basic set alone.

One of these pieces is Read the Sky, an adventure of mine for the Reign of Steel setting. After the robots rebelled, the UK found itself with a better AI tyrant than most of the world, but there are still plenty of enemies that the surviving humans need to deal with. When a village drops off the vidcom network, you send a repair crew. When they don't come back, you send the police. When they don't come back, it's time for the player characters.

Unlike most Kickstarters this one is unlikely to be delayed; they're aiming delivery at November, but my own piece at least has already gone through the layout process and is pretty much ready to go.

If you make a larger pledge, you can get credit for other PDFs via Warehouse 23: specifically, for $99 you get $125 credit as well as these files.

The Kickstarter ends next Monday, 13 July.

Very glad to see you doing a Reign of Steel adventure, and looking forward to reading it.
