More boardgames played from home.
Lemminge
on yucata, one of the few games I'm still regularly playing online
with strangers.
Rallyman:
GT,
continuing races via BGA and some solo games.
Azul on BGA: I
thought I was doing all right, then it all fell apart.
Cascadia on TTS
for the podcast: even this multiplayer game felt mostly as though I
were doing my own thing and occasionally taking something my opponent
wanted.
Small
Islands
with strangers on BGA: I still think this is something of a hidden
gem, though it may run a little long.
Star Trek:
Ascendancy:
my latest over-complex play-by-forum project. (Inkscape is a great
help here; even when as in this case the elements are mostly bitmaps,
it lets one move and scale them easily.) Even as not much of a Star
Trek fan I enjoy this, particularly for its exploration aspect, which
I haven't seen done this well in other 4X games, and the feeling that
there's more going on in this universe than the grind of control
world, build colony, take resources, build ships.
