I avoided the crowded pub over Christmas, but went back to this group
for their next meeting.
I usually ask people for game requests before I go to a
gathering, and for once I got some, so we started with
Deception: Murder in Hong
Kong.
It's been quite a while since I played this but the principles came
back fairly quickly. It really does suffer from having a long narrow
table rather than a round one, though; it's a game designed to run
with 8-12 people, but everyone needs to be able to see the cards in
front of everyone else.
Then another request, Flash Point: Fire
Rescue,
which again hasn't come out much lately but which I still enjoy a
great deal. Even if, as CAFS, I got exploded a lot. Still, their job
is to be where the fire is, so…
