Back in the Usual Pub with nine of us playing various games.
And at my table we started with a couple of games of
VOLT, in Pittsburgh
and Rome, with two new players – both of whom picked it up very
quickly even with the upgrade cards in play, and one of whom won both
games.
Then on to
Unfair, which I'd
played once several years ago. There's a lot of randomness of course,
and perhaps it's a bit long for a game where an event card can shut
down your whole multi-turn plan, but I still had a good time.
