Some friends live nearby, and I visited them for gaming.
We started with Just
One, using the
right rules this time (in a three-player game, each non-guessing
player writes two clues) – and still managed to have one card with no
clues at all. Still good fun though.
Then Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive
Edition,
testing the coming month's solo challenge (which is just a game setup,
it doesn't have to be played solo). This was a pretty tough one: Haka
and Ra were both knocked out of the fight (at the same moment), but
Fanatic became a mass of whirling blades (more so than usual) and won
the day.
Finally Snow
Tails, the game
that people talked about when I first enthused about Flamme Rouge –
and yes, it's definitely got elements in common. On reflection it
reminded me more of Rush 'n' Crush in which you similarly trade off
speed against lane changes. Must play that again!
