This Meetup-based
boardgames group continues to meet in the Britannia. (We've been going
there for three months now, and it hasn't yet been cold enough for us
to want to move inside.)
We started with
Tsuro, an old
favourite I don't often get to play these days. (With my stones
replacing the clunky plastic pieces.)
Then on to
Hidden
Leaders,
one I've been wanting to get played since the Kickstarter arrived in
April but haven't previously got in front of the right group. It's a
little clumsy at first (each turn you play, draw, and discard) but
it seemed to come together. And I won, so it must be a good game.
(Lovely art too.)
BANG! The Dice
Game; it
is what it is, and I don't hate it, but nor do I love it.
And finally
Kiwetin, a
racing game of forest spirits with lots of randomness. Not a game to
take terribly seriously, but an enjoyable one to end the evening.
