I went over to a friend's place for boardgames.
And we began with
Sentinels of the
Multiverse:
Wraith, Tachyon, Captain Cosmic and Haka versus Citizen Dawn in
Megalopolis.

We managed the flip well (three Citizens were still in play
when it happened, so it didn't take long to flip back), and with an
early Leverage I managed to get Wraith very effectively powered up.
(Right at the end, all items got destroyed, but I had enough in hand
for a game-winning Inventory Barrage.) All very neatly handled.

On to Parade, in
which two of the players went for majorities straight away and I
realised that all that neat handling had been by players other than I.
I thought I understood this game a bit, but there's even more to it…

Finally
Azul, which seemed
finally to click for me – I'm starting to feel enthused about playing
it again some time.
