Been a while, as life got in the way…
We started with
Hanamikoji,
at which I did terribly. But I think I'm starting to see how I was
going horribly wrong.

On to Tobago, with
two first-time players and the Volcano expansion. (When I first got
it I thought it would be for old hands only, but I'm changing my
opinion on this.) Add this to the long list of games for which I need
to write up an integrated rule sheet.

Xenon
Profiteer,
which really deserves to be better known. Probably my best play ever,
as I ended up with the ability to do a full distillation every turn.

Ingenious, in
which I realised how a new tactic might work (after it was used
against me).

And lastly, Horizons of Spirit
Island;
the spirit I played was much more focused than the ones in the
original game on doing a particular thing, which is a good fit for my
current skill level.
