Back again, playing with three and four. No photos this time; I was
too involved!
First was
Newsboys, one
of my so-far-unplayed Essen purchases. It's rather lighter than the
buzz was suggesting, but still fun; you get a choice of six symbols,
three off a Welcome To-style double-sided deck and three off your
own dice, and pick one of them to fill in hexes (or add to your
"strike gauge"). Points are for very specific things and relatively
scarce.
I liked it, though I don't see it becoming an absolute favourite.
Then an unpublished prototype, about which I probably shouldn't say
anything, and then Nokosu
Dice, evil
mind games with incidental trick-taking. My goodness I enjoy this
game, even though I'm not particularly good at it.
