More gaming with some nearby friends.
Tonight's event was The Quacks of
Quedlinburg—the
first time I'd played it in far too long (April 2023 apparently).
Also, since we'd all played before, we randomised the token effect
cards, and included the Herb Witches (but not the Exchange or the
Alchemists).
And I had a great time. Yes, all right, a party game like this really
shouldn't need serious rules conversations while we try to work out
what a particular card means (why not put the clearer text on the card
in the first place rather than hiding it in one of the rulebooks?).
But this was only the first time I'd played with effects that weren't
the basic set ones, and the second time I'd played with Herb Witches,
so that'll probably resolve itself in time.
There's a version out now that's optimised for two players, but I
think I'll stick with this. (And try to organise the bits in my Big
Box, which is just about full with all the 3d-printed component trays,
but has lots of cardboard floating around.)
