We started off with Yokai
Septet which
I crowdfunded last year in its new small edition (basically just one
deck of cards, and the box has a false bottom to make it larger). I
like it, though this time I did very badly. Like many traditional card
games, it really wants four players, though there are variants for two
or three.
Then on to a game I haven't played for rather too long, Steampunk
Rally
Fusion.
(Specifically with the unofficially
recommended
combination of decks from original and Fusion edition to cut down on
duplicates and clumping.) That seemed much more fun than my memory of
the fully mixed decks from last time I played, and I'll plan to keep
using this setup. Really need to work out a better way of storing it,
though; the inlay is not up to the job of handling both sets combined.
