More gaming with nearby friends.
Our game this evening was Rock Hard:
1977, new
to two of the four players.
This time I tried to get away from the "straight" rush (demo tape,
record contract, gigs) and went all-out for parties and candy. Even
then I never needed my special ability, a free reroll of the Sugar
Craving die each month.
However, even though I'd seen most of the main choices before, I never
felt forced into a particular style of play, and I still ran away with
the win. So I think that's a positive point for the game.
