More gaming with nearby friends.
It's been a while since we played
FUSE, and tonight's
first game made that clear. I think I might try to remember to have
this along as a standard opener just so that we don't get out of
practice.
Then on to
Gladius, first
time for two of the players (one of whom won, with the rest of us in a
three-way tie for second place). This clearly isn't a world-beating
game, but I still like it, particularly Cheryl Young's art.
And finally, four-sided
Crokinole,
another game at which I've fallen out of practice. Once in a while I
make the perfect shot, but most of the time I really don't. Still,
always great fun. If it weren't so large I'd take it to more gaming
events..
