The Oxford Meeples had another
quarterly games day, and I had a great time again.
I'd brought along the
Crokinole table
and that drew in several players.

We moved on to three-player
Tinderblox,
always good fun.

As groups ebbed and flowed, we played some Compile: Main
1

followed by Sea Salt &
Paper,
and one I haven't had out for far too long, Welcome to the
Dungeon.
Still good fun; I still don't like the player elimination aspect, but
it is maximum four players and rounds should go fast.

Trail. The usual abstraction gap problems for me of course, but I had
a good time and with a total teaching plus playing time of two hours
the game felt about the right length to me.

Finally, Steampunk Rally Fusion: Atomic
Edition.
One player joined late and was flailing a bit with the rules, but we
still had an enjoyable game. I will have to try playing Korolev again,
since he gets a bonus for a minimal machine (5 or fewer cards) and my
usual style is a huge bloated machineā¦
