The sixth issue of the GURPS fanzine The Path of Cunning is out.
Our plan for a twice-a-year release schedule seems to be holding
together so far.
John has written about the "neo-sensibilist" approach to gaming: yes,
I'm a player character, but that doesn't mean I have to be a stupid
one. He's also contributed a crunchy piece on using Ritual Path Magic
in the Weird Florida game I ran a few years back, and some notes on
continuations of the magical WWII game Irresponsible and Right. I've
been writing rater less this year, but I have a piece on streamlining
the time use rules to allow long-term training with relatively little
effort. We also have Designer's Notes from Matt Wehmeier, some
Creatures of the Night by Scott Maykrantz, and a justification for
playing really irritating mages from Shimmin Beg.
Also we have a photo credited to the Imperial Iranian Air Force.
I apologise that this issue isn't available in ePub. We've switched
over from LibreOffice to Typst as the layout
engine, and while this is vastly better in many respects the options
to output HTML for ePub conversion are still quite limited.
The sixth (and earlier) issues may be downloaded from the fanzine's
site where you can also find
information on how to contribute.
