Just one game this time, the four-player variant of
Haggis (so
technically "Haggis with Neeps").
I enjoyed this rather more than the two-player "straight" Haggis; the
game is very similar, but felt as though it made a bit more sense.
(Still not clear on bombs, though; as we played it, if you bomb then
nobody gets the cards from that trick, which is an obvious tactical
choice; but looking at the updated rules you still give the captured
cards to your opponent. So why would you do that other than very
rarely? Aren't the court cards more useful as single wild cards?)

I wrote a mini rulebook for this but I'm working on revising it
heavily now that I've actually played this variant. And now that
there's an updated official rulebook which makes a bit more senseā¦
