More gaming with nearby friends.
It's been a while, so we went back to
FUSE; our first
game was better than our second, where two of us managed to end up
needing single specific sorts of die colour and number. Not ideal.
As usual, too quick for photography.
Then The
Spill, a "coop
and then things get worse" game in the Pandemic or Flash Point
mould. The die distribution tower is very impressive, though with very
limited mobility it seemed that bad things were often happening where
nothing could be done about them in time. I'll be interested to try it
again, though.

Finally an introductory game of Turing
Machine,
and my insight for explaining it seemed to work. Hurrah! I'm not
saying it's a game for everyone, of course, but at least if new
players can get over the initial hump they can see how it works and
decide whether they like it. The other players had only played on BGA
before, and were very struck by how the actual physical bits held up.
