More gaming with nearby friends.
First game this evening was Junk
Art, which I haven't got
round to playing before (even the double-sized demo copies at Essen).
We tried the introductory setup—there are many rule sets in the game
which one mixes to make a sequence of rounds—and quite enjoyed it, but
not hugely. I think perhaps there's too much variation in what you
have to add in what order: is it a nice easy block to put on top of
another block, or a near-sphere? I suspect I'll stick with the
Tinderblox family, which did grab me on first play, not to mention
having space to store them.

On to FUSE, which we
managed to beat: at the basic difficulty level, with 41 seconds to
spare, but in spite of my having got locked into a pair of cards to
which I could only add a 2 or a 4. Still enjoying this.

Finally Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive
Edition: Wraith, Captain
Cosmic, and Harpy (me), versus Spite in Megalopolis. This went pretty
well; once Spite had flipped, he stayed flipped, and never ran out of
tokens. We took a fair bit of damage of course, but all ended well.
(All right, one of my Flocks ended up wiping both the Lost Child
bystanders off the board, ahem.) Good fun; I haven't played this
recently and should remember to get it out more often.
