More gaming with nearby friends.
We went back to Spirit
Island after the very
enjoyable previous game, but this time it just didn't work. Nothing
ever seemed to come together, and after a decent first turn it was
just a losing battle that ended with running out of blight. Not sure
what we were doing wrong; I don't think we made any rules errors last
time or this… ah well.
And we finished off with
FUSE, which bogged down
very early but ended up with a near success.
With both games the occasional good runs give some spice to the
failures. We know it's possible to succeed…
