I have removed Amazon links from the site.
I admit that this wasn't a hard choice; they never brought in
very much. But the specific reason is that Amazon is now excluding
erotica, and as far as I can tell (it's not explicitly stated)
non-heterosexual romance books even if not erotica, from affiliate
earnings. (They're still selling them, they're just not paying the
people who linked to them.)

I'm sure Amazon has a bland corporate excuse for this, probably
something about "mature content" (and obviously gay romance is more
"mature" than het romance). And non-het and erotica aren't a big part
of what I write about here. But I don't want to support the system
that makes a decision like that. And they always come for the
"controversial" things first.
If you buy a book because of a review here, I invite you to send me
some money but I'll never notice if you
don't.
