The local pub organised a trip to a public evening at the
Rebellion Brewery in Marlow Bottom.

I think breweries have noticed that "brewery tours" are largely
drinking opportunities. One brewery works much like another, after
all.
So mostly it was barbecue and free beer.
I think this phrase is now Officially Over.
The new brewery shop is doing a better job of being a local farm shop
than some of the local farm shops. At least it doesn't stock all that
horrid wilted lettuce that they seem to regard as necessary.
The brewery has just undergone the last expansion it can accommodate
on this site, which suggests they're probably thinking about moving
some time in the next few years.
In the cold store, Tim (the sales founder rather than the brewing
founder) gave a quick talk about the history of beer and brewing in
the UK. Rather inaccurate, but entertaining.
More beer was available, of course.
They seem to sell a lot of these 22-pint mini-barrels (bright, with a
three week shelf life, supposedly even after opening). Might try one
some time. (The barrels and taps are reusable.)
Stop tap at 9.30, and glass collection at the end of the evening.
