I was out late one evening posting a 3D-printed part, and saw some
ducks out on the Wye.
I don't expect nocturnal ducks. They're not really built for it,
what with the small eyes and so on. But there were two of them, doing
some light foraging. And since I had the Canon Powershot A1300 with
me, I thought I'd get a picture.
Sure, if I'd used the Lumix GF-1 it would have come out better, but I
don't carry the GF-1 when I'm strolling out to the post office.
Pushing contrast and brightness, there's a drake clearly visible.
The duck isn't as obvious, but you can catch some of the wing and tail
markings above and to the left.
