Not a good point in the sky for observation from home, and not a good
time to go elsewhere, but…
Overexposed, but at least this shows there's some impression of the
dark limb. Just after this point the moon was behind trees and then
the other side of the valley. If I'd been feeling more energetic I'd
have walked up to the golf course where there's a much better field of
view.
